The seminar presents a dual transformer less single stage inverter fed by a PV array and also by a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC).Alternative energy sources have great interest in the area of static converter development.This fact is related in greater part to issues such as sustainability and detrimental e ects on the natural environment, which all contribute to the viability of this type of energy source.The strong dependence of PV systems on weather conditions brings the necessity of parallel connection of other energy sources in order to make the system autonomous and reliable.In this context,power electronics performs important tasks making viable the connection of all these kind of clean power sources to the conventional grid and also to the load.This seminar intends to contribute to the development of energy management systems capable of providing intelligent planning and control of appliances in low and high-power applications.The main feature of this inverter structure is the intelligent power management technique which focuses on the extraction of maximum power from the PV array keeping the PEMFC as an energy storage system.The increasing concern about the available fossil fuel reserves and the environmental aspects has given a high impetus to the use of renewable energy sources in the present scenario of power generation. The conventional energy sources, obtained from our environment, tend to exhaust with relative rapidity due to its irrational utilization by the humanity. This uncontrolled extraction of the natural energies, certainly will lead the
harmony of our ecological system to the instability.
